From the planning to the price and the execution of our family celebration, every aspect was handled with professionalism and care. We were excited to have our event in the newly renovated space. Having attended business events there, I was confident things would go smoothly, but it turned out even better than I expected. So many compliments from friends and family. I highly recommend The Event Connections in Dayton for any event you are planning to host! The staff are wonderful to work with, and they have so many resources available! I’m a busy mom, night shift nurse and graduate school student and had very limited time to devote to wedding planning. Kirsten was an absolute angel for helping me plan, design, coordinate, decorate, find vendors… you name it, she helped with it! Quick and professional communication made things so much more efficient! Greg Cowger, the Director of Operations (and our officiant) was also a huge help and a great guy. From the first meeting, my husband and I knew that we loved the space and trusted Greg to help us make the event memorable. We were honored to have him officiate our ceremony as well, and he made our guests smile and feel at home. Being able to hold meetings and coordinate virtually every aspect of our wedding all at one site was such a timesaver! In total, the venue, wedding makeup, cake, music, officiant, decorations, lighting, catering, bartender, reception, ceremony site, and photobooth company ALL came from the Event Connections network. In addition, our photographer and florist work with E.C. frequently and were on a first-name basis with the coordinators. The familiarity helped everything run smoothly. The renovated galleria is a stunning space! With lights and linens, you can transform the room and make some real magic happen! The bridal suite upstairs is also a fantastic bonus! Three months later our guests are still telling us how much fun they had. Please don’t hesitate to call The Event Connections to see the space and all their vendors – I’m so glad we chose them!!!

Could not have gone better
My wife and I had our wedding reception at The Event Connections, and it could not have gone better! Greg and his team were truly professional, organizing the catering, cake, DJ, setup, and cleanup for us. All we had to do was show up after the wedding, greet our guests, and have a great time! I especially want to thank Greg for walking us through all the details and patiently corresponding with us over email and telephone as we asked any number of questions (probably twice!). We liked it so much that it was the obvious choice for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party.

We had our September 8 wedding at the Event Connection. Everything turned out wonderful. Their staff worked with us to ensure that everthing went on without a hitch. All of the vendors that we used we found thru them also. Although at first we were skeptical about using vendors affiliated with the connection it proved to be a huge advantage for us. Having a large selection of vendors available at one spot was execellent for us because we did not have to run all over town after work, meeting with different people. Due to them being familiar with each other, we were all able to work together in the planning which made the flow of the evening perfect. There staff was wonderful and truly had our satisfaction at hearing. Our friends and family had a great time, and we heard nothing but compliments about our wedding.

Beautiful venue and comes with some room decoration (wall drapes & up lights) where most venues come completely bare. It is very reasonable price and they help you set up consultations with other vendors. Also, they have a salon on location and a girl named Jessica did my hair and she did a wonderful job, I truly felt like a princess.
The event connection is a beautiful venue that is perfect for small weddings. I am truly happy with my decision to choose this venue for my wedding. They helped make my special day truly amazing.

They make it happen
My daughter and I did a DIY wedding, but I wanted to be able to enjoy the day so I hired Event Connections to provide me a Bridal Assistant for the day of the wedding to help get things set up and flow throughout the evening. As much of a control freak that I am, I was of course nervous to pass on control of setting up the reception area to someone else. After meeting with LaToshua and going over all my plans with her I felt a little better about turning over setup to her; she was able to tell me what I was missing and even help with the layout of the room (of which I had been struggling with). Needless to say, my control issues were entirely unfounded! LaToshua brought to life all the details my daughter and I had spent months putting together into something so amazing that I squealed with delight when I entered the reception area. During the reception, LaToshua made sure the DJ, photographer, and caterer were all informed and in-sync with all the events so that no one missed a thing!
We also hired our officiant via a connection set up by Event Connections – it was a perfect fit. We did a steampunk themed wedding and wanted a Celtic handfasting done during the ceremony. The staff at Event Connections set up a meeting with Cindy Lee and the bride and groom connected with her immediately. It was a perfect fit!

A Fairy Tale Wedding
Yolanda was my brides assistant for the day of my wedding and I can’t even begin to thank her enough for everything! Yolanda with the help of our Dj turned our wedding into something out of a fairy tale. I would recommend to anyone planning a wedding to hire a brides assistant, they make your day go so much smoother and there is no stress on making sure everything is picked up and set up on time!!
Yolanda was amazing! She helped us get the ball rolling with all the vendors and gave recommendations of who to use and then continued to work with us down to the last detail to ensure our day was everything we dreamed of and more. She was incredibly professional and made sure to keep everyone on the same timeline the day of. I would highly recommend Yolanda and The Event Connections to any who is looking for a young professional who knows exactly how to make your wedding day a success!
Yolanda at ‘The Event Connections’ was great! Both my daughter (the bride) and myself were so pleased with her service.
